Your Grinnell student days may come to a close, but your quest for knowledge does not have to. To support alumni’s lifelong learning endeavors, the Grinnell College Libraries and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations are pleased to provide alumni with access to a range of academic databases.

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is pleased to announce the opening of the Latinx/e Cultural Center (LCC) in August 2024. The Latinx/e Cultural Center will expand the co-curricular affinity offerings modeled by the Conney M. Kimbo Black Cultural Center, Stonewall Resource Center, and Disability Cultural Center by serving as a place for Latinx/e students, faculty, and staff to gather, celebrate culture, and feel a sense of belonging on campus.

Psi Chi's mission is to recognize and promote excellence in the science and application of psychology. As an international honor society, Psi Chi aims to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship among its members across various fields, particularly psychology, while advancing the science of psychology itself. 

Jadyn Al-Fatah ’27, who sings bass with the Grinnell Singers, has created an interpretive dance to accompany Pulitzer Prize–winning composer Caroline Shaw's “To the Hands.”

A large solar array north of the Grinnell College Golf Course is live, providing the College with four megawatts of power — approximately one third of the campus’ total energy needs. It is the largest private solar installation in Iowa.

The Grinnell College Class of 2024 is preparing for a milestone event on May 20 — their Commencement celebration. For many students, this marks their first taste of a traditional graduation ceremony, a rite of passage denied to them during the challenges of 2020.

Luke Bryson ’25 received an honorable mention for his short story, “The Last 2,500 Miles of Cataract Jack,” in the 2024 annual ACM Nick Adams Short Story Contest for his stories short story.

Yoo is teaching a three-part series about native plants this spring. In March, the students learned to germinate seeds. In April, they transplanted their seeds into cone-tainers, and next, they will plant their seeds into the middle school prairie.
