The Office of Student Financial Aid administers both merit-based and need-based assistance, including grants, scholarships, loans and work-study Over winter break the Office of Student Financial Aid sends a packet with information on the financial aid process to the student's home address. Any student who wishes to apply for need-based aid and has not received the packet by February 1 should contact the office to obtain the necessary information. Returning students should submit completed application materials by March 1 each year. Awards for returning students are subject to annual review, and renewal may depend on continued need and/or satisfactory academic performance. Students and parents are encouraged to call if they have any questions or concerns about the application process or if their family circumstances change significantly.
The Offices of Student Financial Aid and Career Development direct the student employment function for eligible students seeking part-time work on campus. The Experience eRecruiting Network is an online system to aid in job placement for students searching for jobs. For more information including dates and times of online employment workshops, visit the eRecruiting website. New students receiving need-based Federal Work-study will be assigned their first job. Questions regarding work eligibility should be directed to the Financial Aid Office.
