Join us for Christian worship in an African-American tradition. Our guest minister will be Pastor Stephanie Moody, New Beginnings Discipleship Ministries. The Young, Gifted, and Black Gospel Choir will sing, director Barry Jones. Mark your calendar for the following Black Church at Grinnell 2010 dates: February 14, March 14 and April 11, 2010.

--A discussion series with students, faculty, and staff, based on how our spiritual journey guides us to act. Every other Tuesday beginning Sept. 1st, 12-noon, CRSSJ. Lunch will be provided, RSVP's are requested.

The Chaplain's Office welcomes faculty, staff and students to call for an appointment to arrange counseling sessions or private conversations. Contact the office at X4981, or e-mail Rev. Deanna Shorb, Dean of Religious Life and Chaplain [shorb], or Rabbi Howie Stein, [steinh], or the Lilly Intern for Religous Life, Rev. Michael Hunt [huntm].
(note: sessions are not geared towards religious context unless you bring it up, perhaps you are having trouble with your assigned roommate, homesick, experiencing grief from the loss of a friend/family member, or just need to talk).
Walk-in hours are:
