BROADMOORE TO SPEAK ON GOVERNMENT’S ROLE IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE
GRINNELL, IA - Grinnell College graduate Amy Broadmoore will present "What Can Government Do for Sustainable Agriculture?" on Tues., Apr. 15 at 4:15 p.m. in ARH 102 on the Grinnell College campus. Broadmoore, who works with the Iowa Environmental Council, will deliver the third and final presentation in the "Spreading Sustainable Agriculture" series sponsored by the college’s Center for Prairie Studies.
Following graduation from Grinnell in 1999, Broadmoore earned a master’s in ecology and law degrees from the University of Minnesota. In law school, she specialized in agricultural law, water and land use law, and environmental law. She clerked with the environmental division of the Iowa Department of Justice and interned with the Farmer’s Legal Action Group and the Minnesota Farmers’ Union.
ARH (Alumni Recitation Hall) is located at 1226 Park on the Grinnell College campus.
