Learn more about the Summer 2009 GRINNELLINK internship opportunity at Every Child is My Child, a Chicago based non-profit organization that funds education for children in Burundi and Rwanda and advocates for access to quality schooling. Every Child is seeking a self-starting intern who is interested in international development, education, and non-profit management. The intern will help with our operations in Chicago, developing our website and donor database, creating communications materials, researching education trends in Africa, and will receive training and practice in grant writing. This is an opportunity to develop your non-profit work experience while making an immense impact on the lives of children in Rwanda and Burundi. Mary Powell '07 volunteers with Every Child in Rwanda and Burundi. For her day job she teaches at the Maranyundo School for Girls in Nyamata, Rwanda. She will be on campus to discuss the organization and the internship opportunity.
