Young Alumni Challenge Gets Rolling!

The Grinnell College Alumni Association Council has challenged the 20 most recent classes (1988-2007) to increase the total number of class donors by 20 over the number of donors in each class during the 2006-2007 year. Alumni Pioneer Fund gifts support environmentally sound policies as well as the curriculum, student affairs, and extracurricular opportunities.

Your GIFTto the Pioneer Fund endorses Grinnell's current green decisions and ensures the importance of future environmental action.

At the 2007 Fall Trustee meeting they decided to drastically decrease our carbon footprint and issued the Grinnell College Emissions Reduction Commitment, "We intend to take important further measures in environmental responsibility by making a commitment to reduce Grinnell College's carbon emissions 20% below anticipated 2010 levels."
