1968: THE GLOBAL REVOLUTION
Every year, the Center brings to campus a number of prestigious international scholars and artists who reside in Grinnell for up to a semester, and who teach short courses or course units that complement the existing academic curriculum of the College. Short-term guests are known as International Visiting Fellows. The most distinguished scholars and artists, in residence for an entire semester, are the John R. Heath Professors.
The Center also maintains a list of regularly-offered Grinnell courses that have significant international content. This list is drawn from the Center's Faculty Database of International Experience and International Interests.
In addition, the Center sponsors regular speakers and on-campus events that address international issues, often in collaboration with other programs, such as the Rosenfield Program, the Center for the Humanities, and the Center for Prairie Studies.
